Dart 17r Undercarriage
Do mean the undercarriage doors droop? Or is the undercarriage frame and
wheel drooping. Different problems. The doors can be fixed easily with 6mm
bungy. The wheel and frame means the hydraulic ram is leaking.

I have recently aquired a super exampe of this classic but have noted a
drooping undercarriage when retracted. The pilot notes indiacte that the
solutio is to replace/renew the bungee but it seems to me that the force
required menas that the securing post is likely to fail. Has anybody got
any experience of this problem (the need for stonger bungee - not borken
post)? Can anybody recommend a type/length of bungee??
