Hi,

The "Cross Country" version of the ClearNav CNv Vario software is scheduled
to be available on March 1st. The new software offers some great features
such as a GPS flight recorder (soon to be IGC approved), task navigation,
serial data output for PDAs and ClearNav displays, etc.

IMPORTANT
Previous "beta" versions of the XC software will stop working on Feb. 28th.
It is therefore important that you either install non-XC "Club" software
(free) or upgrade to the new XC software to be able to use the vario in
flight.

There is an upgrade fee of $750 for the new XC software. Customers that own
a ClearNav display and provide the units serial number can upgrade for $250.
Customers that purchased the ClearNav vario and ClearNav Multi-function
display (big color screen) at the same time are eligible for a free upgrade.
For the discounted upgrades you must provide the serial number and receipt
for the ClearNav display. If you bought it from me I'll have the receipt and
serial number on file for you.

Note: When the IGC approval has been received, customers will need to send
their ADC units (not the display) to Gary at ClearNav for sealing. IGC
approval should be received in a month or 2.
