This looks like fun too. Stereoscopic GoPro and something like this might tempt me to start making soaring videos.

If you could work out the alignment problems, it might be interesting to make a stereoscopic video with two cameras on opposite wingtips. That might enhance the 3-d perception of the distant landscape. (For close-in subjects, the cameras need to be the same distance apart as your eyes.)
