did you set the communication speed to 19200 in the system setup in the "GPS" menu? We had similar problems with the LX7000 basic in our clubs Astir.. I think it's now running with 4800bd from the Colibri because we didn't manage to get a stable connection with the Flarm.

correct, the System Set-up is the menu to set the baud-rate for the GPS, unless I am missing something.
Is the LX7007Basic also capable of displaying FLARM information?
Your experience reg. the 4,800bps does match mine.
