Dick Johnson made one for the PW-5 based on Oran Nick's design, but decided the sweepback wasn't necessary on that particular ship. See SOARING magazine April 1998.
The SOARING magazine archives at the SSA website are a wonderful resource for SSA members. Even though I have every SOARING magazine ever printed (since the 1930's) the online archives make it easy to look up topics and authors. It is also interesting how I get sidetracked looking at other articles, many of which are about the same topics and issues we discuss today regarding cross country flying, club flying, getting new members, training and safety, etc.
