Just received message that Pete Knight has passed away. Most will
remember
Pete for flying the X-15 A2 to a speed of Mach 6.7

Mr. Knight was patient and cordial to my son, writing a several page letter a
few years ago. I'm glad they were able to meet as I see Pete Knight as a
classic test pilot and a good role model. Sorry to hear he has gone west, but,
I'm sure he has friends there waiting...
