Just for a bit of context, the "do it my way" comments from Nick are likely due to his exposure to a club environment with volunteer instructors - each of which has a different style or technique. As you know, many clubs lack strong leadership and standardization, and jumping between instructors on successive weekends means having to re-learn the same maneuvers over and over because you're not performing them the way the instructor-du-jour likes to see it.
