CN plots a blue ellipse on the map that becomes visible during the later stages of a MAT. What the ellipse means is this: if you fly to any turnpoint inside the ellipse, then to the finish, you will be early. The ellipse updates continuously and accounts for wind, altitude, predicted thermal climb rate.
