Hi,
There is no low cost way that I'm aware of. I do have the parts to make the
connection. It is somewhat complicated and expensive, but it is
plug-and-play and uses extremely reliable Goddard cables and power adapters.

Those 3 items will do the job. The Goddard PS-5a will power the FLARM with
12V and the PNA with 5V. The I310-PS5a-1 cable has a built-in serial data
voltage level converter for converting the FLARMs RS-232 serial data to TTL
serial data.
For the cost of those cables and power adapters he could almost buy an Oudie
2 - which is supplied with a power/data cable that connects directly to a
FLARM.

We have a customer's LP-15 in the shop for modifications. He wants to cable
a MIO 400 up to his FLARM. Anyone have the info on what cable he needs to
order to perform this FLARM to PNA hookup? Will the Oudie to FLARM cable
work?
