After all, with Germany's great adventures of 1914 and again in 1939 it
certainly wasn't the USA who tried to stop them on either occasion.

Indeed, had Germany not declared war on the USA in December 1941 would
they have got involved at all in the 1940s?

Perhaps you could also explain what was "honourable" about the wars in
Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.
