Default PowerFLARM Portable Firmware Update: 6.02

Hi,

The upgrade notes state that the major change only applies to the Portable.
The Core doesn't display aircraft type information. The bug in version 6.00
was in the part of the software that affects the way the Portable displays
the aircraft type.

If you change the aircraft type in a Portable which as software version
6.00, it will set the aircraft type incorrectly in the PowerFLARM hardware.
It is setting the integer vale that stores the aircraft type incorrectly.
It then reads it incorrectly too. So, it is important for all PowerFLARM
Portable owners to upgrade to version 6.02 and then verify that the aircraft
type is set correctly.

PowerFLARM Portable Firmware Update: 6.02
PowerFLARM Portable users should update to version 6.02 ASAP. There was a
bug in version 6.00 which caused it to show "Towplane" as the aircraft
type
when it should have displayed "glider". That may have caused users to
select
the wrong aircraft type. After you upgrade be sure to verify the aircraft
type setting.

This thread is a bit confusing.
The heading specifically states Portable. Further down the thread there is
reference that there is only one firmware for both the core and the
portable. So is this updated firmware 6.02 needed for both the core and the
portable? Is this issue of thinking it's a tow plane an issue for both the
portable and the core? Should everyone thus upgrade from 6.0 to version
6.02? Even if the configuration is showing "glider" not "towplane"?
