A couple of features that I haven't seen on other trailers:

Side opening rear door is fitted out with brackets to hold assembly
tools, lube, rear stabilizer jack handle, etc.

Fold up ramp which incorporates padded fixtures to secure wingtips
during transport.

And, yes, the surge brake was really good!

All of the Pfeifer trailers I've seen had orange nosecone and rear door
and a yellow colored fiberglass tube supported internally by fiberglass
hoops, wood floor, and nice tracks in the floor to guide the fuselage
cradle and wing dollies.

Its amazing all the history one can find about a glider but not much on trailers. These trailers are still around and so much a part of the glider, especially the classic and older gliders.

My trailer does tow very well and the surge brake is second to none and better than many US made utility trailers I'v towed.
