After 25 years of restoration (interspersed with lots of other stuff) The
Museum of Flight Restoration Center at Paine Field, Everett WA made the
prototype 727 airworthy, and it made its last, short, flight to Boeing
Field in Seattle for permanent display at the main museum.
1,832 built during a 21-year production run (1963–1984).
