Default Help finding a Cambridge Vario manual/info

what you likely have is the very old CVS50 (or 40, 60 depending on if it's
feet/knots or M/S)
there isn't much information on this you don't already have.the studs are
for 12V +/-) as marked.the 5 pin connector is for the separate AU20 (up only
sound) or AU22 audio (up and down sounds)which has pins configured so you
can't screw it up.....the tubing connections are for TE or Static and the
other (marked) for .45 capacity....knobs on the audio control just volume
and where the audio starts to sound... toggle switches on separate leads are
for response rates (slow and slower ) and second switch may be off/on or
can also be dual range (full needle deflection is then either 5 knots or 10
knots (or feet, M/S)
hope this helps

Hi,

I've got a Cambridge electric vario that I want to keep using in my
newly reworked panel. The problem is that it is as old as the panel and
I can't find basic connection/wiring information on it. The best I can
read the nameplate info (It was hand etched on the nameplate) is that
the model number is "CIS60SR" (not sure if those are "s" or "5"; serial
number 1092; 11-18 VDC; Rev. 12. The vario has + and - power studs, a 5
pin and a 6 pin female plugs, and is hard wired with 2 toggle switches

The panel mounted audio box w/speaker is separate from the vario, with
a volume and a tone knob and plugs into the back of the vario with a 5
pin male plug.

Any help or direction to someone who would know about this instrument
would really be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan
