My interest piqued, I found the article in the Dec 05 edition of West
Wind.

Kempton, I hope you don't mind me posting the link so that all can read
it but it is still a very instructional article.

btw in overhauling my instrument panel 2 years ago I removed the elderly,
bulky and noisy, Ferranti Mk 6 A/H as cloud flying is not allowed in
Europe (unlike UK) and I have not been trained to do so. I retained the
T&S and got it over hauled so that it runs up quickly.

Your article was a very good reminder to avoid overconfidence in the
presence of strong lift. Thank you.
