Default Dutch Homebuilt Association NVAV Fly-in on 3-4-5 June 2005

Hi Home-built friends,

The Dutch Homebuilt Association NVAV invites you to their Annual
Fly-in and Barbeque on Drachten Airfield (EHDR) on 3-4-5 June 2005
EHDR is situated in the North of Netherlands (Friesland) and offers a
well maintained 950 mtrs. asphalt runway and excellent camping space.
It is also a good place for starting trips to the Dutch or German
"wadden eilanden".

Opening times of the field
Please read the following details carefully.
Always phone in advance !!!!!!!!!!
General phone number of EHDR during fly in + 31 (0)512 51 32 45
(Available from Friday morning 08.00 thru Sunday 16.00 hrs.)
Field open Friday afternoon from 12.00 to 20.00.
Field open Saturday from 10:00-20:00.
Filed open on Sunday from 10.00 - 16.00.

Aeronautic information:
The general area frequency is Dutch Mill Info 132.350 MHz.
5-10 minutes before arrival contact field frequency 123,45 MHz.
!!! Address your radio call to "Drachten Info".
Do not use the phone numbers as published in the (older) AIP.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The approach is confirm the AIP, strictly limited to using runway 26.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When in doubt, phone in advance using the phone-number for inquiries.
No landing is possible with wind over 5 knots from the east.
The field is situated at the border of the rather busy Militairy
Leeuwarden CTR. Stay under 1500 foot, especially on Friday because the
F16-s use higher airspace. There may be MLA traffic at EHDR around as
well. Be awa they use other frequencies or no radio at all.
You may be instructed by Drachten Info to follow other circuit
entries, than published in the Dutch AIP.
There is no AVGAS available on EHDR. MOGAS (Euro 95) can be obtained
in case of emergency. Please contact in advance if you need this.
To obtain fuel on your trip to EHDR we suggest either Lelystad (EHLE),
Hoogeveen (EHHO, Grass!!) or Groningen (EHGG, expensive). Be aware of
the rather high prices for both fule and landing fee in the
Netherlands. You may also consider a nearby German or Belgian field
where prices are more acceptable.

Accommodation.
Camping is accommodated on the airfield.
Catering will be available from Friday 12.00 until Sunday 15.00 hrs.
Saturday evening there will be a BBQ and party night in the Hangar of
Friesland Aviation.
