NTSB report - ILS and ATC. How does it all come together?

(Simple and quick approximate calcuation method: 2.5mi = 15000 feet.
The 3 degree ILS is approximately 1:20 approach ratio. So 15000 / 20 =
750 ft).
My quick method:
5200 + 5200 = 10,400 + 2,600 = 13,000
13,000 ft = 2.5 miles
1,300 ft = 10%
130 = 1%
390-400 ft = 3%
%%%. Oops...
NOT 3 degrees!! My mistake.
