Price reduced. $100 plus shipping.

Mike,
A nice unit for a nice price. But please be aware the FAA prohibits new installations of ELT's that are not the new 406 mHz variety. Your unit could replace an identical one in a previous installation though

.
And, as I understand it, nobody’s monitoring 121.5 anymore!

Unless there's been some sort of official interpretation, the prohibition on new installation is for "airplanes". Satellite monitoring of 121.5 has been terminated because it was useless. All aircraft operating in the US are required by regulation to monitor 121.5 when not engaged on another frequency. It's a good idea since any general officer can order you splashed and your last warning before they pull the trigger will be on 121.5. War without end...but I digress.

I would install it BUT might contest organizers &c. turn around and specify 406mhz?
