#5 Is it a "old wives tale" that you must not run coax next to each
other or you will create problems. How else am I going to run the Coax
from the back of the plane to the back of the radios?
One of the 'et al' responds:
Coax comes in various 'grades'. Having to do, among other things, with
how 'solid' the "shield" (outer) conductor is.
Using the "good stuff" -- 100% shielded -- you can put multiple runs
immediately adjacent without creating problems.
That aside, the interference from one line to another decreases as the
_square_ of the distance between them. two lines run immediately adjacent
might have 1/4" between the two center conductors. Put them 'merely' 6"
apart, and you've reduced things by a factor of about 600.
