Hello everyone---

This isn't a question or a problem but a discovery I've made recently
and wanted to throw it out here so someone else might benefit rather
than just sitting on it. Put it in the public domain. If the length
doesn't suit you, just delete and move to the next message. Simple..
No need to have a stroke..

Well, I guess .air file problems with some PAI models is not really
news, but I think they've gotten better. I agree that the way they
set up their files is somewhat "unique", though maybe a little better now
than it used to be. I wish I could get just a base model without having
to download a full "paint kit" but that's life. I use AIA and also
FS Painter but PAI have some variants you can't get anywhere else.
Plus their sponsorship of things like overlays and RAFCADs which have
advanced the hobby. Mainly they have tried to provide installer
packages for those who can't or won't play with AI themselves. The
installers are of no use to me, but so what?

I mainly wish all repainters would be more clear about the specifc
..mdl file they used for the paint job, especially now with
reflective texture options being available.
