Default Gliders and Pilots comparison at Ostrow & Hosin

Netto is calculate using the formula from Reichman's book. Traces are filtered, interpolated using splines and resampled at 1 sec. Netto is then calculated for each point according to selected polar and wingloading at upload then averaged. So it is not the netto A to B it is the average netto of each segment between A and B.

Absolute numbers are not so relevant (or correct) we look at differences between pilots and averages of glider types.

Scroll down the "Compare Flight" tab for gliders comparison.
Click on table headings to sort.

Make your own conclusions...

It will only work properly with chrome, not sure how it will works with Opera or Safari.

Nice work, oh spreadsheet warrior... How is netto computed?

Glad you pointed out that the pilot has something to do with performance....
