Default For Sale M&H KF-011 Oxygen Bottle

If your ship is licensed as an experimental, you could fabricate (or
have it done) a steel stop, bent into an "L" shape with a semicircular
cut at the top sized to the external dimension of the neck of the
bottle.Â* This could be bolted down with the bracket holding the bottle
in place.Â* Just thinking...

Couple of things;

Measuring O2 bottles. I had a devil of a time finding one to fit my ASW-27. Someone would say it had a diameter of X which should have fit only to find it did not as measuring a cylinder's (sleeve's) diameter is tricky without a outside (inside) caliper. I finally determined that the best way to accurately know if someone's bottle would fit my sleeve was to give them my required circumference.

Ill fitting bottles in oversized sleeves. A friend had this issue and used some large diameter plastic plumbing tubing from the hardware store. Took a few goes to get the right size. For this to work depends on the type of bottle clamp you have. The type that grabs the bottle's neck works for this solution. The one that clamps the bottle's body does not. I prefer the neck type found in my old DG as more secure but I have the body type in my ASW. ;-(

My $0.02.
