Information seems to be slow or crawling.

Looking forward to it...!

On March 26, SSA sent out an "E-news" edition with the following post about Cloudstreet. The main thing you should know is that each PBS station has to decide independently whether to show the program. So, be sure to contact your local station and request it.

"We are pleased to report that our film about soaring, titled CloudStreet: Soaring the American West, will be released to all PBS affiliate stations starting on May 20th, 2015. To learn more about the program visit the Press Room for KNME, the New Mexico PBS station that is distributing the program, at the following link: http://www.newmexicopbs.org/pressroom/cloudstreet/

"Check with your local PBS station to find out when the program will air in your area. To find your local PBS station, go to: http://www.pbs.org/about/faq/station-finder/ Then enter your state or zip code in the box at the bottom. You can email the station and ask them to schedule CloudStreet: Soaring the American West. If your station has not yet scheduled CloudStreet for broadcast, ask them to do so!

"CloudStreet: Soaring the American West needs your financial support

"New Mexico PBS and the producers are grateful to the Soaring Society of America, Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and Stemme A.G. - our three PBS Title Sponsors -- for their financial support of the program. However, the support from our Title Sponsors covered only a portion of the costs of production and distribution of CloudStreet. Support from individuals, soaring clubs, foundations and other groups is welcome and needed in order to ensure that this program reaches the maximum audience, that it will stimulate interest in the sport of soaring, and that it will encourage development of more films and programs about gliding and soaring.

Why should you help? Your financial support is needed to cover the costs of production and distribution. CloudStreet was an expensive film to produce and was funded out of the producers' own pockets. Financial support received to date covers only a portion of the costs. If your financial support helps CloudStreet break even, then there are more likely to be additional programs about soaring in the future.

"If you can help, please consider sending your tax-deductible contributions, payable to "UNM Foundation" to the address below.
