eBay is a good source. Also you can down load some plans for free of the net.
Do a search for:

BUG glider - Basic tube and rag
Gyrobee gyro - Metal ultralight gyro
Evans VP-2 - all wood VW power
Quickie - foam and glass

The last 2 are not ultralights but these are the only "free" plans on the net I
know about and they cover the most common construction methods.
