I have both a Nelson (now Precise Flight) portable O2 system and an EDS
system. Besides the other comments about these systems, the EDS is more
comfortable to use as it seems to dry out the mucous membranes less.

The Nelson Oxymizer system is a 4 place and is about 10 years old. Two of
the flow meters are cracked at the needle valves and leaking. Guess I
shouldn't complain as the system is older, but it doesn't have many hours of
use. The plastic may get brittle with age.

The EDS, on the other hand, has been reliable, no problems at all.

Does anybody have any experience with Precise Flow Oxygen Conserver by
Precise Flight? It says on the website it should deliver oxygen for one
person
for up to 20 hrs from a 22 cu ft bottle. All this for $395 and it
does not require any batteries as MH EDS for $ 650.Has anyone tried it
in sailplane?
Thank you
Paul
