Wow... Texas soaring at it's best. I told the contestants that this
contest is the inaugural Texas soaring contest for the upcoming 2012
World Glide in Uvalde. To get Texas and Region 10 clubs focused on the
big show coming to the Lone Star State.

Top points and speed today were earned by Ken Sorenson of SCOH...
253.36 actual miles at 76.24 mph... without water ballast.

It's been a great contest in Brenham, which everyone hopes will prove
to be a new and terrific site for future Region 10 contests. The
airport, the volunteers, the contestants made this an A-plus week of
super soaring. Looking forward to next year.
