Hi Ian,

Why the new document for the Cambridge GPS-NAV models 10, 20 and 25? What
has changed?

Thanks,

Paul Remde

Recent updates to IGC approval documents for GNSS flight recorders
include the following:

Cambridge 10, 20 and 25, Edition 5 dated 12 September 2004
Zander 940, Edition 2 dated 20 September 2004

and, to take effect on 1 October 2004:

Filser LX20, Edition 6.
Peschges VP8, Edition 2A
Print Technik GR 1000 and GR 1000A, Edition 3

Note that the early standard of the Filser LX20, the PrintTechnik GR
1000 and Peschges VP8 are now at the IGC-approval level for "all IGC
Badge and Distance Diploma flights". This level excludes world record
flights.

Upgraded LX20 units and the GR 1000A model retain the higher "all
flights" IGC-approval level that includes world record flights. Details
are in the appropriate IGC-approval documents. The complete documents
are available through a link from the IGC GNSS web pages:

http://www.fai.org/gliding/gnss

or directly through:
