Hi there,

Yes, there was an ultimate adventure for Polish pilot Tadeusz Gora
littlebit over 71 years ago. May 18th, 1938 after bungee launch,
flying PWS - 101, SP - 1004 open flight from Bezmiechowa (south-east
Poland) to Solecznik Maly near Wilno. For the achievement of 577.8 km
on January 7th, 1939 FAI issued to Mr. Gora first in the world
Lilienthal Medal. Mr. Gora was also a recipient of second issued
Diamond badge in the world.
