144meg vhf band which is quite useable on the aircraft band.

The old Collins transport COMM radio has a very nice one built in
on one end. The one that's so old it's full of vacuum tubes.

It can easily be removed. Shows forward and reflected power on a meter
and has a very nice low pass filter in it.

You buy one cheap then have the guy pull off the module, send it to you,
and ditch the rest!!
