Default Updated IGC approval documents for Cambridge GNSS flight recorders

I am pleased to announce that on 25 August 2003 the IGC GNSS Flight
Recorder Approval Committee (GFAC) agreed updates to the IGC approval
documents for Cambridge GNSS flight recorders.

These updates involve only small changes of wording and are currently
being placed on the fai/gliding/gnss web pages. There are two IGC
approval documents for Cambridge, one for the model 302 and one for the
older models 10, 20 and 25.

Cambridge 302.
The update adds a new and simpler model 302A. This has no display. That
is, there is no LCD at the instrument panel end. Instead, the front
face has a green GPS status light and a button that gives a Pilot Event
(PEV) and a set of fast fixes on the IGC flight data file. Also, the
email and web references for the Manufacturer have changed although
other details have not.

Cambridge models 10, 20, 25.
The update changes the email and web references for the Manufacturer,
other details remaining the same.

The Manufacturer has stated that the new web site is under construction
and will be operative shortly. Meanwhile contact can be made through
the telephone, fax and email references given in the approval documents.
