Default Region 5N Perry USA practice # 711 reporting

Today, we flew. Yes, it was a very good day. DJ, led the way with a
speed over 81 mph. The task was a 3 hr. TAT for all 4
classes( Sports, Standard, 15 Meter, 18 Meter) with Davis #12-20 mile
radius, and then Bamburg #8 with a 15 mile radius, then home. bases
well over 6,000 agl, first leg winds were 20 kts plus, but streets
provided some long glides. Many had speeds in the mid 70 range over
230-250 miles flown. Climbs of 6-8 kts seemed common for some, others,
like me, enjoyed 4-6 kts and just went slower.haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
Tonight the Tylers hosted a hamburger and chip dinner along with
desert. Most were smiling and many think we should really have good
weather for the week ahead. As in the past, look for scores and
updates on the SSA website.
