The world (And FAA Management) will never know

Moving on to real air safety issues and not thread battles
with some FAA sycophant(Mike)note the NAS is rapidly degrading.

Notice the first paragraph of the news article from New York
regarding the 2nd near pink mist at JFK

WASHINGTON --
After another close call, the Federal Aviation
Administration has
finally changed its landing and takeoff procedure at Kennedy
Airport.

http://www.wnbc.com/news/16858119/detail.html

The FAA is "FINALLY" changing their procedure?!?!!? NATCA
has screamed for over 10 years the runway configuration was
****ED UP and a accident waiting to happen at JFK.

Were the involved aircraft following instructions issued by NATCA
controllers?

Yes, under duress by forced work procedures mandated by FAA
draconian management

What forced work procedures caused the duress to the controllers
involved in these incidents?

EXPANSION OF FAA MANAGEMENT POSITIONS IN CUBICLE RAT
POSITIONS BUT REDUCTION IN KEY SAFETY AND FRONT LINE
CONTROLLER AND TECHNICIAN POSITIONS

Poor training
FAA management overruling controller concerns of unsafe
parallel runway configuration and procedures at JFK
Insufficient staffing during peak traffic periods
Ridiculous dress codes
Salary cuts
No union contract
Poor OJT training at many level 5 towers
Supervisors unable to work traffic or stay current
Diversity promotions USING NON-WHITE MALE people who are
unqualified
And many more too numerous to mention.

Why was NATCA unable to stop any of those?

Anti-Labor and Anti-Union mandates sent forth from God on
High(Bush Administration)

Laws of physics allows putrid turd of anti-worker/anti-labor
to roll down all the way until it hits the bottom tier
workers in the face.

FAA management sycophants and managers who have sold their
soul for 30 pieces of silver and are weak and minion
servants to the upper management goons perpetuate the
draconian work atmosphere within the FAA.

The 2007 Government employee survey done by an independent
research company rated the FAA 204 out of 222 overall in
employee morale

In other words the FAA got an F-MINUS
The work atmosphere in the FAA is compared by many to
a sweat shop or saw mill or Chinese tennis shoe factory.

I think that about sums it up

No it doesn't. The part you're missing is that NATCA is part of the
problem. It's true that the FAA management is dominated by ineptitude at
every level but it's also true that NATCA is dominated by poor leadership at
every level. The best controllers are caught between them. They never
joined the union and aren't what the FAA seeks for management.
