What is a .CMR file and what is advantage of using a .CMR file in a LXNAV 9000? See Adam Woolley's post on his Facebook page Adam Woolley's Gliding Adventures. You'll have to scroll down a couple of his posts.

They are files of maps. I have not found any of these Raster maps for US airspace. I did download the high def maps from the LXNav web site and those were a big improvement. Details in your manual.

Jonathan, US airspace files in CMR format can be found at http://soaringdata.info/aviation/sectionalTab.html

Great website and service offered by Lynn Alley. If you utilize this service please donate to Lynn to offset his costs for hosting this free service.

I was referring to the commercial maps of the types offered for Europe and listed in the LXNav manual. But thanks Lynn's site is of great service.
