Default For the "wannabe" self-launching sailplane pilot

If you meet one of these criteria...

* just interested in self-launching sailplanes
* thinking of getting one
* already have one

and you haven't read "A Guide to Self-Launching Sailplane Operation"
(3rd edition), it's time you did!

It's available free from the Auxiliary-powered Sailplane Association's
(ASA) website as a 56 page pdf file (www.motorglider.org, click "On-line
Publications" to find it). It covers the subject from why you might want
one, through ground and flight operations, to unassisted safaris.

The ASA website also has back issues of many of it's bulletins for
pilots interested in less focused articles.
