This is a problem for those of us vertically challenged as well, I am 5
foot 4
inches with an inside leg of 271/2"

I own a share in a Standard Cirrus and previously I owned a IS29D2

To fit the Cirrus I need to sit really quite upright or I can't reach the
instrument panel. On a turbulent areotow or rotor I can hit my head on the

canopy

The IS 29 needed extensions made for the rudder pedals in order for me to
fly it safely, On my first flight in it I had a winch launch and the
acceleration
caused me to slide back just enough that I couldn't keep my feet on the
rudder pedals, Tail wagged and winch driver slowed the winch down , result

was pulling off the wire at 400 feet and giving myself a more stressful
time
than i really needed.

So fitting gliders is not just a problem for the taller ones amongst us.

My 2 cents worth keep doing what you doing and sit in as many cockpits as
you can possibly even purchase the slimiest parachute you can find so you
can try them all with it

best of luck
