Add this to solar flares,problems with CATV amplifiers,UHF trnasmitter
harmonics, etc. etc., and you beging to understand why VOR,ILS and
ground based radar and transponders will be around for a long
time...not to mention the FAA underestimated the cost of the GPS
equipment/system by a factor of about 10X original projected cost.
