Ironic... Haven't seen one of these in a *long* time and yesterday I had
one fly over me... Doubt if it's the same one. I don't suppose it could
have made it from Bozeman to its last landing in less than a couple hours.


It's a Long EZ duck. All the ducks without front landing gear flip
over when they are ditched. lol

Looks like he snapped the fuselage about at the canard. Must have been
a slow flip since he survived and all he had was that Plexiglas canopy
between him and the desert bottom.

Lucky *******. FAA claims his medical was void.

I have a Velocity used to post at canardzone.com before it went tits
up. You have to watch small canard ducks they lie to protect the
species. lol
