Thanks for that. I was unaware the ACK remote even had a battery in
it. I'll check ours next time I get to the BD4.

I've seen lithium batteries expire prematurely due to circuit board
leakage. In that case it was a slightly suspect board manufacturing
process combined with bad placement of the buried trace carrying the
battery +, close by a ground trace.
