First thermal, prior to the gate was 9 kts to 9000 feet, coloring our
expectation for the day......very few clouds about 1/2 way down the
first leg into Davenport and beyond, about 15 short of Wilson
creek,clouds went away and stayed that way to Kramer.......lift
available but down low very strong headwinds about 24 mph, 12 mph at
altitude. Scores are close......they are arranged in terms of today's
finishing.

Sorry they didn't manage to cross post it under the
Nationals page,
but you can guess why after you check the Region 8
ramblings. Their
June 29 wasn't as pleasant as in Pleasant Valley, AZ.
Send them
fifteen degrees, and maybe they can ship you 15 percent
of their
humidity and all will be well.
