individual in a particular individual could still include gliders or
ultralight vehicles.

Yeah, depends on what it is you are really after.

If it is just to fly, ultralights are dirt cheap.

If it is to fly somewhere, i.e. a weekend in Vegas, LSA is the bottom entry
point.
