Hi,

Cumulus Soaring, Inc. will be hosting the 2005 Region 7 Contest in Albert
Lea, Minnesota. I will be the Contest Manager and Charlie Spratt has
signed-on as Competition Director. At Charlie's recommendation I have
invited Thomas Pressley to drive up from Texas to do the scoring. Details
will be available on the contest web site soon at:

your calendars. There will be a practice day on Saturday, May 28th and the
contest will run from Sunday, May 29th through Saturday, June 4th.

We have had some wonderful contests at Albert Lea in recent years and look
forward to a fun contest. Some of the top pilots in the US are planning to
join us and we will put on a good contest for them, but the contest's main
goal is to recruit and support many first-time contest pilots. If you have
access to a 2-seat glider, make plans to bring it as we already have several
2-seaters on the list.
