Default 5-14 pre-practice 15 meter nationals Mifflin USA

OH, K1, ZM, GH1, RJ took tows at 1 pm. GV & 711 waited to watch dark build
ups come towards Mifflin from the west about 1:30 pm. About 2 pm thunder &
lighting could be seen and heard as all returned to get in the box as quickly
as possible. Then the thunder gods spoke with heavy downpours, lighting and
wind gusts to 50 mph. One RV group held on to their awning to keep it from
departing. Simply put, it rained for the rest of the afternoon, and all ships
are safe in the trailers. Tonight the count of tied down trailers is up to 17.
Saturday looks like maybe pasting rain showers, but a backside ridge mission
could take place. Sunday and Monday the progs look good. # 711 reporting.
