Default More ATC Confusion Near Phoenix

I soon got vectors and made it to Falcon.

How is it possible that Albuquerque Center had a different route than
I filed and that I wasn't informed of the change?

I haven't had this happen before. Should I ask for a full route
clearance next time?



I can't explain the clearance confusion. I agree, that is very odd. I can comment on the clearance you
were given. Off of V-190, that is very typical to be given the 038 radial to IWA. I assume they do that to
keep you out of the traffic pattern into Phoenix Sky Harbor. I'm curious how they actually vectored you.
Did you end up going all the way to IWA or did they give you a better vector toward Falcon?
