Fouled plug IO 470

My engine analyzed is telling me that the spark plug on the #6
cylinder, left mag is fouled. I have a new plug, but can't tell which
cylinder #6 is and whether it's the plug on the top or the bottom....
Can anyone tell me which plug it is...?
Thanks much,
Anthony
What a load of mis-information you're getting!!! Continental and
Lycoming number their cylinders differently. On a Continental, cylinder
#1 is at the REAR of the engine on the RIGHT side. In other words, in
front of the copilot on a single engine, tractor aircraft. Cylinder #2
is at the rear, on the left, in front of the pilot. Cylinder #6 is on
the left, with all of the other even numbered cylinders, at the FRONT of
the engine, closest to the propeller.
STRONGLY recommend you get the engine manual!
