Visit
www.gliding.co.uk (the BGA site) to find out about local clubs.
Then visit and/or ring them and take it from there.

Many UK clubs have fixed price to solo schemes - where I fly you can
get solo for under £1200 this way - and decent single seat fleets. If
you're flying 50 hours or less a year this is the cheapest option as
well as not committing you to a particular type of glider before you
sort out what you'd really like to fly.
