Hey Dave, maybe it's time for a few Zzzz's.

The threshold spec for ELT inertia switch is 6g from a velocity of 3
ft/s or greater. Held in your hand with the forward direction facing
away from you, a swift "whip cracking" motion in the air should
activate it. Congrats on your engine.
