the S-3 Viking.

Find Subs by dropping sonobouys, and using its MAD
Kill subs with Torps
Kills big ships with Harpoons
Kill small ships with Mavericks
Carpet bomb with 500lb bombs
Lay mines
Collect ELINT
Shoot down other planes with Aim-9s (intended for Bears & Mainstays)
Pefrorm COD services
Refuel thirsty Hornets

and...of course, bring the President onto a carrier for what would be
both his most glorious and most embarassing moment.
