Wright-Patterson AFB Former Air Force Museum Official

(EXCERPT) Blamed For Missing Artifacts August 25, 2003

An audit conducted last year shows that a thousand artifacts were
missing from the Air Force Museum.

The 2002 audit concluded that poor management caused the museum at
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base to lose the items.

The Dayton Daily News is reporting that missing items included
technology the Wright brothers used, prisoner-of-war items and
military weapons.

The museum's director acknowledges that many items still are missing.
Some people blame the museum's former chief of collections, Scott
Ferguson, for the problems.

Ferguson was indicted earlier...
