Default A new Oudie for other users looks promising for glider pilots and more

Critics of the Oudie have always described it as old hardware running a dead operating system. What I think is interesting in the latest moves is that Naviter may be moving to a software model rather a focus on proprietary hardware. Yes, they’ll continue to milk the hardware with added features for as long as possible, but the question is whether an Oudie replacement will ever built or whether the focus in the future will be on software alone. Perhaps the most telling aspect with the new app is that it will be available on iOS as well as Android. If they develop it properly, they may replace iGlide as the iOS alternative (and make more money selling it as a subscription service than as a discrete transaction.)
