The US Glider Flying Handbook recommends medium banks in the
pattern, and 1/4 to 1/2 mile pattern legs (distance from runway).
I'm gonna stick with this myself.


Uhhh ... in a glider, 40 - 50 degrees *is* a medium bank. 30 or less is
shallow. 60 or more is steep.
